MONEY HEIST season four left many fans of the Spanish Netflix series utterly devastated when Nairobi was shot in the head by Gandia.

This was after she had been shot by a sniper as Alicia Sierra paraded her son in front of the bank. But fans are certain these events could have been prevented if The Professor had been more prepared.

As the gang went into the Bank of Spain, Nairobi (played by Alba Flores) had her heart set on having another child with The Professor (Alvaro Morte) when she got out with the gold. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be as Nairobi was killed by Gandia (José Manuel Poga) when he tried to take down the robbers in season four. It wasn’t the first she had almost died as at the start of the series she was fighting for her life after being shot in the lung.

Now Money Heist fans have revealed their anger Nairobi was attacked twice and have blamed The Professor.

In the first run of Money Heist, viewers saw the negotiating team try to persuade Rio (Aníbal Cortés) to hand himself over and reveal the gang’s plan for the Royal Mint.

However Rio refused to do so and had been warned the police may try to emotionally manipulate him into exposing The Professor and his plan.

This showed just how prepared The Professor was to deal with the police and anything that could ruin his plan.

However, viewers were furious with The Professor for not taking better care when he planned the robbery of the Bank of Spain.

Nairobi was shocked when she saw Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) holding her son’s hand and walking in front of the bank with him.

As she watched her son, who she hadn’t seen in years, she was shot in the lung by a sniper.

Fans are angry Nairobi was put in a compromising position because The Professor hadn’t prepared her for seeing her son.

Redditor Potatertots123 wrote: “Can I just say I am thoroughly upset that the professor didn’t plan for Nairobi’s child to be used against her.

“He prepared Rio for the inevitable emotional manipulation with his parents in the first heist, why not the same for Nairobi?”

Many others agreed with another commenting: “Even if this isn’t The Professor’s plan he should have think about the possible baggage his team has and that can be used against them.

“I don’t know about you all but I am really p**sed at professor during 3 and 4.

“Berlin warned him about Gandia but he did nothing about it. He didn’t warn his team about Gandia beforehand.

“He only informed them when Gandia escaped like what? Yes the plan was to kick the guards with the secret files but it failed and he did nothing.”

A third added: “That is my main problem with the show. They account for absolutely everything except when it will stall the plot or they need it to jump start the plot.”

However one defended The Professor insisting
They explained: “The cops have regulations.

“They shouldn’t use unethical tactics like using a minor. Lisbon didn’t used unethical tactics in the first season, they didn’t thought the cops will be like that.”

Another argued that the plan was Berlin’s so The Professor wasn’t to blame.

“Dude this isn’t Professors plan it’s Berlin’s and this time they didn’t have time to plan everything,” they argued.
